ABOUT US
We are a husband and wife team, Craig and Dawn Donovan.
We consider ourselves to be stained glass artists, by that we mean we create and produce just about anything in stained glass, and have done so for the last 5 years. The hobby became a passion, a real labour of love.
We have recently opened a small shop, The Glass Menagerie, in the Craft Gallery at Elsecar Heritage Centre. You can come along and see the kind of work that we produce, have a chat, watch Craig working, have a browse or even commission something for yourself. We can offer you a bespoke service that is professional and competitively priced.
As well as using pattern books, we also use our own designs. Some of our work on display is exclusive to The Glass menagerie and you wont find it anywhere else. From windows to tiffany lamps, from terrariums to sun catchers, and much, much more, we hope that the passion shows in the quality of our work on display.
You can find The Elsecar Heritage Centre at Elsecar in Barnsley. We are within easy reach of junction 36 of the M1 motorway. Follow the Elsecar Heritage Centre brown information road signs for about 3 miles. Inside the centre is a range of craft and antique shops, there’s even a café. At certain times of year the steam railway is in operation too. Why not come and see us at The Glass Menagerie and make a day of it.
